This project is good and not talked about enough. A transition between Michaels old stuff and the ones that would make him a star. It’s like an old soul vibe. He’s around 16 or 17 when he recorded this album and he’s starting to find his own voice right on the edge of becoming the superstar we all knew him for.

Over the years I’ve gone back to listen to Michael’s music but never fully listened to this project from start to finish. It was goooood. My favorite songs off this album are the first 3 - were almost there, take me back, and one day in your life. I don’t know why but I could feel the emotion behind those. The production and instrumentals are just amazing, and of course the lyrics. The album gives a bit of this and bit of that - from a slow ballad to a funk groovy feel.

Overall the album was good but not great. It’s was a trip down memory lane enjoying the progress of Michael Jackson and his discography. Key note: I may be biased because I grew up listening to Michael and was a super fan but good album :)
