Since its dropped, this album has stayed in my monthly rotation
Both melancholic and bright, airy and dense—it's been a nice listen on active, foggy nights. Empowers me to create cool stuff and care more about what matters despite what the structures around me nudge towards.
The album tells stories of the "passionate ones," striving to choose love as the pressures of the world increase. Sometimes it's sad, sometimes it's soppy, but always a protest.
In 9 2 5, nourished by time goes:
"you know he's got a purpose, but he's always working
tryna beat the system, manifest a vision,
working restaurants by day, writing love songs every night"
aye we stuck in late stage capitalism and it really sucks but the swag is infinite type. Idc i will still love you at the end of time type.
