This album feels raw and authentic. Justin Bieber has struggled with a lot in his life and this album pulls all of that into one - his marriage and relationship, his journey into fatherhood, and his faith through struggle. The project is stripped down bringing a rawness feel that matches where Bieber says he’s at in life - vulnerable about the parts of life that matter most. Also the interludes bring these fun, honest vibes.
When I first listened, I wasn’t immediately amazed. I was expecting a classic Bieber album full of hits but as I listened to it more I started to appreciate it because he’s being authentic. He’s entering this new era of fatherhood and faith. Good album with some songs definitely in the rotation.
